Hope for the Future
In a recent article by Keypoint Intelligence that ran in WhatTheyThink, a point was made that with more PSPs adopting wide format, this service is no longer the differentiator it once was. Commoditization is a natural byproduct of herd-like business convergence in a mature industry. The time between cycles will only accelerate. But there is hope. Successful businesses in the future will be built on developing entirely new experiences for a new set of customers. It will come though products that haven’t been invented before (think the iPhone). It will come through using lateral thinking to give withered technology new life (think Nintendo). Whatever approach you take, it will invariably come from thinking different and breaking away from the herd. Now that is an idea. LinkedIn Published on August 23, 2019
