Unique Individualized Service to Enhance Participating Companies’ Visibility, Product Penetration, and Sales Success in Key Global Print Markets


Reston, VA—For printing industry businesses seeking to enter, or augment their presence in international print markets, the Association for Print Technologies (APTech) announces the launch of its unique, new Global Concierge Program (GCP).

The Global Concierge Program, open to all printing industry businesses, serves as an extension of the Association’s established portfolio of services that enable Member companies to effectively utilize printing industry dealers and distributors around the world. The highly personalized service will significantly enhance participating companies’ visibility, product penetration, and sales success in key global print markets where APTech already has full time staff or representation: Brazil, China, India and Indonesia.

Beyond introductions, the Global Concierge Program goes further by establishing a clear framework for performance improvement and, also serves as the direct link to improve communication between a company and its in-country dealer and distributor network

An essential element of the new Global Concierge Program provides for in-country “feet on the ground” support. Using a defined reporting system, the APTech global staff member will effectively have weekly contact with a participating company’s dealer/distributor and report back to the company with the status on the productivity of the agent/distributor and be positioned to increase in-country marketing efficiency. Perhaps the dealer/distributor needs to spend more time marketing a company’s products at a show, or maybe the dealer/distributor needs to be aggressive in other aspects of the selling process. This service is a “must” for companies that:

  • don’t have their own in-country representation office,
  • can’t frequently visit with their global agents and distributors,
  • can’t effectively communicate due to language and cultural barriers, or
  • just have a hard time communicating across different time zones.
